MDS presents at Wireless Ireland Conference Colm Hayden describes success of software networks

MDS Technical Director, Colm Hayden, today presented the success of the Service Delivery Platform Alliance to the Irish wireless software industry at the Wireless Ireland Conference 2007 in Dublin.
The SDP Alliance is the collaboration of six telecoms software product companies, all established leading vendors of category-defining products: Aepona, ChangingWorlds, Cibenix, Mobile Cohesion, Openet and Xiam.
The SDP Alliance was established in Q4-2006 to devise a pre-integrated, end-to-end SDP.
lMDS pre-integrated the SDP Alliance solution and manages the SDP Alliance Test Bed consisting of each of the products. Acting as Technical Director for the Alliance, Colm led the definition of the SDP Alliance architecture and co-ordinated the collaborative integration effort.
The SDP Alliance is a successfull example of how collaborative software networks enable smaller software vendors to deliver on a common strategic goal.
